5 reasons why you should log in to M2U more often
Categories: Maybank2u
Internet banking can be confusing. There’s a learning curve, especially for first-timers and there are processes that you need to get used to, like logging in or making major transactions.
However, if you use a website often enough, those kind of stumbling blocks will eventually become second nature to you. If you need more convincing, here are 5 reasons why we think you should log in to M2U more often:
1. You’ll find it easier to track your financial status
Most people login to M2U a few times a month to check their balance or pay bills. But when you log in every other day, you’ll cultivate a practice of keeping up-to-date with your finances. You’ll know all of the latest interest rates or credit card promotions out there. So, make it part of your online habits to know and keep track of not only your spending but also your lifestyle choices.
2. You’ll always pay your bills on time

Pick a specific date and time to log in and pay your bills. It could be just before you head off to work, or even during your afternoon coffee break. Log in to M2U and settle all of your payments, once and for all. You might not be able to get rid of that neighbour’s barking dog, but hey, you’ll definitely be able to sleep easier at night.
3. You’ll be more organized
With M2U you won’t need to write your own cheques or keep massive dossiers of loan payment receipts. You won’t need to have stuff lying around your house that’s waiting to get lost. And least of all, you won’t need to worry about updating your passbook, because you won’t need one, anymore.
4. You’ll help to save the environment

One of the most overlooked aspects of internet banking–less use of paper! Think about all those trees you’re saving by not printing out receipts at the ATM machine or air pollution that you’re not contributing to because you don’t have to drive to the bank. M2U is there every time you log in.
5. You’ll be rewarded!
In conjunction with the launch, we are rewarding new and existing customers who sign up or use M2U for bill payments. Yes, anyone who pays bills on M2U gets a chance to win prizes totalling over 38 million TreatsPoints, from 15 October 2008 to 31 March 2009, including daily as well monthly prizes.
Every 288,888th bill payment transaction wins 288,888 TreatsPoints while those who record the highest bill payment amount for three consecutive months stand to win 138,888 TreatsPoints. In addition, by paying any bill above RM30 via M2U, you will be immediately rewarded with 5 TreatsPoints.
That’s our five reasons to be more active on M2U. What’s yours?

You might want to look at shot logging differently, perhaps as a process of exploration, seeking out undiscovered treasures. Internet Banking

Hi,
It was great to know that M2U is improving its website and trust me its look gorgeous indeed. Congratulation!
However, looking nice is just small portion of having a good site.
I cant really make anything through this new portal not even logging in. It takes forever!
Doing transaction online with m2u was a great experience before but not now.
Maybe just maybe, migrating to other much more simpler and faster service online banking would rather be a good choice right now.
It is sad to leave such a great service provider just because a newly made portal is quite a hassle to use.
What could I do? I lost a business trade this afternoon. But hey it my fault too. I should have made a backup strategy when something like this happen. Put too much believe in M2U I guess.
Enough ranting because I dont even know if you guys (M2U) will actually read all these. Malaysia Boleh!!

Better focus on speed rather than focusing on new interface.

Yes, the website is too slow to load. Maybank please rectify this problem. I’m paying RM10 for this facility!!
October 17th, 2008 at 12:50 pm
The loading time is too slow. Definately need to improve on that.
I tried to long in since yesterday. Out of ten time, I experience 6 times failure. Even when i manage to log in, I can’t perform any transactions.
Please work on improving before fully launching to the Public. This is not helping us at all.
Thank you.

Why isn’t there a contest’s results section? What happen to your Save and Drive contest? Result out yet? If not, what take you so long?
October 17th, 2008 at 3:11 pm
This is SO SO BAD! Loading time too too long. Since yesterday I have been trying to do online transaction and I simply cannot. I keep getting :
System is currently unavailable. Please try again later.
OR
System busy.
What’s going on MB2U? You are inconveniencing us your loyal customers so much. Do something quick or revert back to the old system. I never had problem with the earlier system and I have been doing my online banking for so many years!

very convenience!!
appreaciate if maybank team could enhance website immediately.
how to made transaction if i cannot log in???!!! waste time…
i will go bank directly until website back to normal.
think of previous old website…….
October 17th, 2008 at 5:02 pm
I could not transfer urgent funds between my own accounts and I have to resort to go to an ATM to do just that. It is shocking that a major bank can implement a new web site without proper beta and band width testing. At least let the new web site runnig parallel with the old web site so as not to inconvenient users.
October 17th, 2008 at 5:31 pm
It really take vvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvv very long time to log in but very fast to cutoff.
what kind of upgraded system ??????
October 17th, 2008 at 8:45 pm
I also experienced the slowness using the new look. Thumbs down if that is the way customers are force to use new things when all they need is a fast and secure online webpage to perform their payment.
I am using 1.0Mb Streamyx and it is loading forever and moreover you cannot do any transaction over the net
Might as well line up at the Pos Office to do your payment.
Pls look from the customer perspective.
The new look is not going to help the customer. It is going to draw a lot of flak
Keep the Classic M2U until this problem is gone
October 17th, 2008 at 9:06 pm
the system too slow.. i was wonder are you using 486 pc to setup this web site.
October 18th, 2008 at 12:19 am
Tonight I have bad experience with new M2U> It takes too long to load and have to try few times before can perform the transaction. Moreover I don’t like the new M2U layout compared to the classic M2U which is very much more easier and convenience to use. Please improve it .
Thank you.
October 18th, 2008 at 12:06 pm
This new M2U interface not efficient at all, even though its very nice to see, but not good to use at all, we required fast, simple, user friendly and easy to access even with low speed connection, not some junkies fancy interface which cost more time to load, waste of time only. I suggest before you change the M2U interface, let public test it out first before switching it. Please change back to the old M2U interface please.
Thank you

Thank god Maybank2u classic is still available..Tell u what..why dont u consider put maybank2u classic back.
Please do something on new maybank2u..hack feel free to redesign it from scratch with LESS bandwith consuming page and Javascript

Good effort in trying to change things around. I think before this site was launched you should inform the public. Instead of doing a surprise unveil. Yes the site is a little bit more organised *I think* but I have to have some functionality of the site is bad, lots of things are not user friendly.
I know you think most of your users are tech saavy, well you will really need to do another study on this, usability and functionality is essential. Even your learn this site link is not really ” Out there” I had to look for it. Perhaps another look at the site usability should be given some thought.

Dear M2U,
Definitely I switch to classic, before place this new interface on mainpage, it should be available to certain user to test it like Yahoo! Mail, send an invitations when log-in, new interface is super nice but speed just like snail, I’ll like M2U to keep classic available until new interface back to business speed.
Regards.

Please!
It will be better if I get in line rather than on line with new M2U..
I value the benefit of the old M2U system itself but not the new M2U look..
Really waste my time - waiting for the downloading. At the end, I still cannot perform my monthly transactions..
Please improve before I have to consider about migrating to other bank..
Thanks.
